Is the baby pod suitable for a newborn?
Yes! The Bumpnest Baby Pod is designed to be used from your baby’s very first days, right through to around 12 months old—depending on your bub’s size and mobility.
The snug, supportive sides help create a cosy, secure space for newborns and are also great for tummy time as your little one grows. Just keep in mind: they’re not designed to stop a curious crawler, so always supervise use.
Is the baby pod safe?
Yes, the Bumpnest Baby Pod is safe and snuggly for supervised use and is perfect for settling, tummy time, and play. However, it’s not designed for unsupervised sleep.
We follow and support SIDS safe sleep guidelines. If your baby dozes off in the Babypod, we recommend gently moving them to a safe sleep space like a cot or bassinet.
Please don’t add blankets or pillows while your bub is in the Babypod, and avoid using it for co-sleeping. Always supervise your baby while using the lounger.
Does it come with a cover?
Yes! The Baby Pod includes a removable, washable cover—perfect for easy cleanups and everyday use.
How do I care for my baby pod?
