Here at Bumpnest, safety is our top priority. Please note that the Bumpnest Baby Pod is designed as a temporary space for your baby under direct supervision and not as a baby bed.

Do not use the Baby Pod for any sleep, including supervised sleep. Infants should sleep on a flat, firm, and uncluttered surface that meets current safety standards for infant sleep. Please follow the safety guidelines below when using your Baby Pod:

• Direct supervision is required at all times. Never leave your baby in the Baby Pod unattended regardless of whether they are sleeping, resting, or playing.
• Use the Baby Pod only for awake and supervised playtime, never for sleep. If your baby falls asleep in the Pod, gently transfer them to a safe sleep space such as a bassinet or cot.
• Always place your baby flat on their back with their feet touching the bottom of the Pod.
• Always place the Baby Pod on the floor on a firm, flat surface. Never use it on an elevated surface, as babies wriggle and move faster than you think.
• Do not use the Baby Pod inside a cot, bassinet, moses basket, or other enclosed space, and do not use for co-sleeping.
• Do not tilt the Baby Pod or place it on any surface it could fall from.
• Do not place the Baby Pod next to a wall or vertical surface.
• Do not add pillows, blankets, or toys inside the Pod. The Bumpnest Baby Pod is designed for maximum comfort on its own, extra bedding can pose a suffocation or overheating risk.
• Keep the Baby Pod away from open flames.
• Never carry your baby while they are inside the Pod.
• The Pod's supportive walls are not a safety barrier, always stay within arm's reach.
• Ensure the removable cover is securely attached and smooth before placing your baby inside.
• Check the Pod for any signs of wear or damage before each use, and follow all care instructions.

Tummy Time

The padded bumper walls make the Bumpnest Baby Pod great for supervised tummy time as your baby grows. Place bub tummy-down inside the Pod with their arms resting over the bumpers. This helps them engage with their surroundings while building neck and upper body strength. Always supervise tummy time closely.
