The Bumpnest Baby Pod is designed to keep your newborn safe, secure, and comfortable. It’s a cosy, supportive space for bub to rest and play—with safety as our top priority.

We put safety first, so you can have peace of mind while your little one enjoys their Pod.

Best Position in the Bumpnest Pod

For maximum comfort and security, always place your baby flat on their back in the Bumpnest Baby Pod. Our luxuriously soft lounger creates a cloud-like environment for rest and play—designed with safety in every detail.

Sleep Positions & the Bumpnest Pod

The Bumpnest Baby Pod is not intended for sleeping. If your baby falls asleep in the Pod, gently transfer them to a safe sleep space, such as a bassinet or cot, as recommended by safe sleep guidelines.

Tummy Time Support

The padded bumper walls provide excellent support for tummy time as your baby grows.

  • Place bub tummy-down inside the Pod, with their arms resting on the bumpers.
  • This positioning helps them engage with their surroundings while strengthening their neck and muscles.
  • Supervision is key—always stay with your baby during tummy time for safety and comfort.

Safe Placement of the Bumpnest Pod

  • Always place the Bumpnest Pod on the floor. Babies wriggle and move faster than you think—never use the Pod on an elevated surface.
  • Never use the Pod inside a bassinet, crib, or for co-sleeping.

No Blankets or Pillows Needed

The Bumpnest Baby Pod is designed for maximum comfort—no additional pillows or blankets are required. Follow SIDS guidelines and avoid extra bedding to prevent overheating or obstruction.

No Choking Hazards

We’ve crafted the Bumpnest Pod with safety in mind:

✔ Removable cover with no zips, buttons, drawstrings, or cords that could pose a choking risk

Never Leave Bub Unattended

Babies roll, wriggle, and start exploring before you know it! While the supportive walls keep them snug, they are not a safety barrier. Always supervise your baby while they’re in the Pod.

Do Not Carry Baby in the Pod

No matter how peaceful bub looks, never carry your baby while inside the Pod. Your arms are always the safest place.

 

How to Care for Your Bumpnest Baby Pod

Pod Cover:

  • Machine wash separately on a delicate cycle at 30°C / 85°F
  • Tumble dry low on delicate OR dry in the shade
  • Cool iron if needed
  • Can be dry cleaned (temperature below 30°C)
  • Do Not Bleach
